Which details this site gathers, why it gathers them, who else sees them and how to say no.

Who is responsible

Bally's Park Place, LLC, 1900 Pacific Avenue, Atlantic City, NJ 08401, decides how personal data on NexaPoints is handled and is the controller for it. Write to privacy@nexapoints.com with any privacy matter.

Information that reaches us

  • From every visit: the IP address behind your connection, an approximate geolocation estimated from that address (accurate to about the nearest town), the user agent string of your browser, and which pages were loaded when.
  • From the contact form: whatever you put in the name, email, topic and message boxes, once you send the draft.
  • From the cookie panel: the switch positions you chose, stored locally in your browser.

Uses NexaPoints makes of it

  • Keep the pages online and block abuse, which is our legitimate interest.
  • Analytics, so the desk sees which stops get read, only with your consent.
  • Marketing, meaning referral partners can match a booking to a NexaPoints visit, only with your consent.
  • Answer the emails people send the desk (our legitimate interest, or something you asked for).

Third parties and transfers

Our web host and our analytics service handle visit data for us under contract. When the advertising switch is on, partner and affiliate networks get identifiers that tie a click on NexaPoints to a later hotel booking. A hotel website you move on to runs under its own privacy rules, not ours. Messages sent through the contact form are never sold.

A few of these services are run from the United States or from other countries. Where the law calls for it, those transfers lean on approved safeguards, standard contractual clauses being the usual one.

Retention periods

NexaPoints clears raw server logs within 90 days. Analytics summaries last up to 26 months. Email threads are kept while they are live and then for two years at most. Your switch settings last twelve months before the panel reappears.

If GDPR or UK GDPR covers you

Under these laws you may see the data NexaPoints keeps on you, fix mistakes in it, have it wiped, narrow its use, receive it in a portable file, and object to processing that rests on our legitimate interest. Pulling consent stops future processing only. Your local data-protection regulator will hear a complaint if you have one.

If you live in California (CCPA / CPRA)

Anyone resident in California may learn what personal information NexaPoints has about them, by category and by item, get it corrected or removed, restrict how sensitive details are used, and refuse both its sale and its sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising. Any browser sending Global Privacy Control is taken as that opt-out and keeps advertising cookies switched off. Exercising a right will never earn you worse treatment on NexaPoints.

Under-18s

The route is written for grown-ups, and nobody under 18 should send us their details. Tell us if a minor has written in and the message will be erased.

Email privacy@nexapoints.com, and put the right you are invoking in the subject line. A quick identity check may come first; after that the answer arrives inside the legal deadline.
